Ferrous™ Typography

Design Ethos: Ferrovial is a Spanish company with a great brand. With a curved structure applied to a geometric sans-serif typeface, their typeface is one of the most unique latin-script fonts in the worId. I wanted to replicate this type with my own personal touch. The result of this is a font family called Ferrous. I hope you enjoy it.

Development

I first started by incorporating the some geometric strokes into a standardaized template typeface. Some of these incorporations can be seen below. I then curved some edges to add an angular look.

Typography Styling

There are four styles for this font family, Regular, SemiBold, and Bold, which should be sufficient for most applications, print or otherwise.

Licensing

This typography is licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0.

You can use them freely in your products & projects - print or digital, commercial or otherwise.

However, you can't sell the fonts on their own or claim them as your own, as they remain copyright property of the owner.
