"Integer's angular nature creates unique design opportunities for any type-enthusiast"
Design Ethos
When the typeface Sora first came out, I was taken aback by its excellent contouring and x-height. It gave the typeface a sense of effectiveness that inspired me. When Hoefler&Co's Decimal was released, I saw some patterns I liked, especially in its angular styling. With this in mind, I began to think about the possibilities of creating an angular typeface using the contouring of Sora and Decimal, with the established structure of a san-serif typeface. These thoughts formed the primary design ethos and impetus upon which Integer is constructed.
